YMCA Soccer

The YMCA Soccer League has provided many children and young teenagers with an avenue to learn a new sport and to also hone the skills necessary to advance to bigger leagues in Jr. High and High School. The league is overseen by Patrick Hines, who is the sports director for the YMCA. The league features three different age groups that range from 4-6, 7-9, and 10 and above which is available for both boys and girls. Games this year were held on Tuesdays and Saturdays to avoid any cold weather. The league wouldn’t have been such a success this year without the volunteer coaches and above all the parents that volunteered help ranging from stepping in as coaches, to bringing snacks and drinks. A special thank you goes to Coach Aguilar from HJH for all his help and to Patrick Hines for making it all run smoothly. Signups for next year will be held in the summer. Forms can be picked up at the YMCA.
