Paula Clair Dickinson of Brownsville, will become the bride of Christopher David Eubanks of Bells, Saturday, July 24 at 7PM at the Bob Bond farm. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clint Dickinson of Brownsville. Her grandparents are Shirley Dickinson of Brownsville and the late C.C. Dickinson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hopkins. Special grandmother is Emilie Dickinson of Brownsville. Eubanks parents are Mrs. and Mrs. David Eubanks of Bells. His grandparents are Odean Putnam of Jackson and the late R.G. Eubanks and Clyde Putnam and
Doris Medlin of Nashville and the late James R. Dodd and Wayne Medlin. Dickinson is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She is employed as a Physical Therapy Tech at Sports Plus Aqua Therapies in Jackson. Eubanks graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from Lambuth University and a Master’s in Education from Trevecca University. He is a teacher with Crockett County School System. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony. Invitation only.

CalRio Cuban Pie What You Need
with waxed paper. Fill bottom with dried beans (to weigh crust down) and bake pie shell for 10 minutes or until crust lightly browns. Remove, discard paper & beans, and cool.
PIE CRUST: 3 c all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 1/4 c shortening 8-10 tsp cold water 1 c dried beans (to weight crust)
FOR THE SOFRITO: • Add olive oil to a medium saute pan over medium heat. Add onions, peppers and garlic, cook until translucent, but do not brown. Add tomatoes, cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and hold to add pork.
THE SOFRITO: 1/2 c sweet vidalia onions, diced 1/2 c green bell peppers, diced 1/4 c garlic, minced plus 1 Tbsp 1/2 c roma tomatoes, sliced 8 oz swiss cheese, shredded 7 oz pulled pork 5 oz deli-style ham, sliced 1/2 c heavy cream 4 Tbsp mustard (dijon or spicy) 4 Tbsp parmesan, freshly shredded 2 dill pickles, thin sliced 1 md tomato 2 1/2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Albert Jesse Daniel was born Apr 1862 in Madison County and married Dora Olive Brock, who was born Feb 1871. Their children were Myrtle (b.1888); Edwin (b.1890); Aubrey N.(b.1894); Arthur (b.1895); Dulsa (b.1897); and Douglas (b.1908). By 1900 Albert and family were living in Haywood County on Tibbs Road near Nutbush. His mother, Nancy was living with them and his brother, Nathan and family lived next door. Aubrey N. Daniel, Sr. was born 16 Jan 1894 in Haywood County and married Lillian Rena Sweeney, daughter of Frank and Nancy J. (Mason) Sweeney of Nutbush. Aubrey and Lillian lived next door to his parents near Nutbush. Aubrey, Sr. was a WW1 Veteran. Their children were Aubrey N., Jr. (born 1924); Charles L. (born 1925); James W. (born 1930); Mary Nell; Patricia Ann. Aubrey, Sr. died Sept. 1981 and wife Lillian died July 1979 in Haywood County. Aubrey, Jr. and his brother Charles both were WW11 Veterans. Aubrey N. Daniel, Jr. was born 18 Mar 1924 and after graduation from high school, enlisted in the U.S. Army 4 Jun 1943 WW 11. He left the

Genealogy Genie Barry Daniel of Indianapolis, Indiana contacted me and wanted to know more about his paternal ancestors. His lines include Daniel, Sweeney, Brock, Jackson, Poole and Williams. Following his Daniel line, I ﬁnd they emigrated from Yorkshire, England in the 1600’s and settled in Virginia and later Rowan County, North Carolina. The ﬁrst family to migrate to West Tennessee was James William Daniel who married Mary Mahalia Williams on 16 Aug 1815 in North Carolina. Their children were Greenberry; Lewis Charles; Judy; Mahalia; Freeling and Ralph. This family settled in Madison County near Pinson. James died in 1848 and Mary in 1870 in Madison County. Greenberry Daniel was born 24 Nov 1816 in Rowan County, North Carolina and married Nancy Ann Poole on 16 Aug 1842 in Madison County. Nancy was born in Alabama 6 Aug 1822. Their children were James W.; Freeling; Lonnie; Francis; Herbert; John W.; Nathan E.; Albert Jesse; and Hubbard. Greenberry died 10 Jun 1866 in Madison County and Nancy died 29 Apr 1902 in Haywood County.

Lewises Celebrate 50 Years Fletcher Lewis and Janet Marbury began their courtship while in high school at Haywood High where they fell madly in love. Finding each other irresistible, they married on June 25, 1960 and have grown to love each other more each and every day. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis will celebrate their ﬁftieth anniversary this month.
