To analyze the brand language, I looked at current products to understand what key identifiers stand out. Swatch is consistent with a simplistic and modern aesthetic and also have a strong focus on the quality of the internal mechanics.

First Identifier The first identifier is the smooth transition curve between the watch face and the band.

Second Identifier The circular watch face sets the overall focus point on the details and dial of the watch.

Third Identifier The straight break between the face contrasts the circular face with the straight band. This is to also create the function of trading out the band if the user desires.

The final concept design mimics the swatch casing in most of their classic designs and uses bold colors to appeal to the young user groups typical for swatch.

MYSTIC The goal was to add a piece to the Quoizel Modern collection, I focused on simplistic pendants that had a sleek and soft aesthetic.

To understand how the patterns would look in a revolved pendent, I cut the patterns into cardboard and created a variety of proportions . Color options and the structure of the piece were also key deliverable to for the manufacturers to understand how to make the product.

MYSTIC Mystic is an addition to the platinum like for Quoizel which offers modern and sleek designs for their contemporary market.

Additional Work Besides the Mystic pendent light, I sent two other pendent designs, as well as a selection of semi-modern bath lighting fixtures for potential sampling.

Hourglass The overall form exploration focused on a modular stacking system that wold have a simple and modern aesthetic.


Hourglass The purpose of hourglass is to reduce the amount of pots and devices needed to make a single cup of pour over coffee. 1. Insert Reusable Brew Lid

2. Insert coffee grounds into mesh

5. Remove Filter lid and throw away remaining coffee grounds

3. Pour hot water into brew lid

4. Insert cork “To-Go� lid for transportation

Parenting Assistant Sleep Detector

To prevent accidental co-sleeping with infants in unsafe environment, safetyNet will monitor the movement and heart rate of the parent to make sure the parent is engaged and awake through out the feeding process. 1. Baby wakes up and is ready for feeding

4. Parent begins to accidentally fall asleep, creating an unsafe feeding environment for child

2. Parent moves baby to preferred feeding location

3. Parent Begins to feed child

5. SafetyNet band detects low heart rate and vibrates both band and phone to wake up parent
