CASE STUDIES Examples of the good work we do...

Worthing Tourism Eight years ago Carrier Direct Marketing were invited to carry out all of Worthing Borough Council’s marketing activity. We believe this was the first example of a destination council’s entire marketing services being outsourced to a private company. Responsibilities have included all of the services outlined above. All stakeholders including the Tourism Officer, Council and trade organisations have been delighted with the outcome which has resulted in huge resource savings. The Tourism Department have saved money and have been able to direct their focus to more creative and productive projects rather than the day to day running of marketing administration.

Cotswolds Tourism Significant changes are taking place in the marketing of the Cotswolds region. For 2011 the three existing guides of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Gloucester will be combined into one visitor guide for the new Cotswolds, Gloucester and Cheltenham Tourism Partnership. To ensure a professional and comprehensive transition, Cotswolds Tourism and their partners have contracted Carrier Direct Marketing to undertake the entire project from design and advertising solicitation through to final production.

This year Carrier Direct Marketing were appointed to carry out a similar role in Waveney. We have already produced the new Theatre Programme and are now producing the 2011 Sunrise Coast Visitor Guide. Once that has been completed we will turn our attention to on-line marketing and other elements of the agreed strategy. Throughout the contract we will work alongside the Tourism Department. Substantial cost savings have been matched by additional resources, plus new expertise and creative input.

Premier Cottages Not a destination but an example of how Carrier Direct Marketing can provide a broad range of services to help make life easier for clients. We have worked with luxury self-catering specialists, Premier Cottages for almost ten years. Starting as a simple mailing task, our role has evolved into a full service project including brochure production, direct marketing, social media handling and e-marketing. Providing a central marketing hub for a co-operative of over 200 owners has proved a rewarding challenge as Premier Cottages have gone from strength to strength.
