Royal Dornoch Golf Club Rounds Two & Three Royal Dornoch is spellbinding. Golfers from all over the world make the pilgrimage to this natural links. It is often quoted as one of the “must-play” courses with a worldwide ranking of No. 2. Hometown to the renowned course architect Donald Ross, it is fitting this pro-am concludes on this majestic layout.

The timeless setting makes Royal Dornoch a truly pleasing place to play golf. It’s wild, isolated and absolutely beautiful, especially with the blaze of colour in September when the gorse is in flower. The pure white sandy beach divides the links from the Dornoch Firth. Golf enthusiasts have been descending on this great venue for over 400 years.

Castle Stuart Golf Links Round One Located in the Scottish Highlands, this championship links course overlooks the Moray Firth, Kessock Bridge and Chanonry Lighthouse. These magnificent views are jawdropping. Opened in 2009, Castle Stuart’s infinity edged greens, natural bunkers, uneven “rumpled” fairway contours and ruggedly natural landscape make the course feel like it’s at least 100 years old. In 2011, it hosted the Scottish Open, the Highlands’ first European Tour event. This stop will mark the first round of the Donald Ross Pro-Am.

Brora Golf Club Practice Round Established in 1891, this joyous links course is commonly regarded as one of James Braid’s finest designs and is home to the James Braid Golfing Society. Expect a fun and challenging test of traditional golf the way the game is meant to be played. Given 194 acres of Scottish links land to work on, “Braid’s Plan” is hardly altered since 1924. During the practice round, enjoy the mixture of bent grass and beach sand, burn water and gorse in glorious yellow bloom. Expect to see lots of friendly wildlife here at Brora.
