Message from the MC Dear AIESEC in Costa Rica, MC 1314 is dedicated and committed to providing the best experiences possible for AIESEC Costa Rica members. We know that if the country has to grow, we must communicate and align the very best of our intentions and actions, and ensure that every single member, from EB to members, faci to OC, TMP to EP and beyond, has the tools to succeed in our leadership development platform. We know that this growth has to happen together. So therefore, we listened, we took your feedback, and thought long and hard for what would be the best for our country as a whole. We decided that although the best scenario possible is for us, as an MC, to spend time with you, as members and leaders, as much as possible, that simply was not the reality that many people had. Taking this into account, while also taking into account that we still wanted to provide our members with an optimal, educational, and inspirational experience, we ultimately decided to shorten the main conference to Saturday and Sunday. What does this mean for you? 1. Lower price Shortening the conference from 3 days to 2 days will reduce the price. The money covers your 2 days and 1 night in the hotel, your meals, and a high-quality agenda centered on equipping you with the know-how and tools to succeed in in AIESEC. 2. More focused agenda With just two days to prepare AIESEC Costa Rica for a successful few months ahead, our content will be focused on the core information you need to facilitate exchanges in this upcoming peak period. This information will be essential to your development as an AIESECer. 3. Two days with the most international MC team in the IGN region This part will never change, no matter what the circumstances are. The Costa Rica 1314 MC is the most diverse in the entire Iberoamerica region, with MC members from Egypt, Colombia, Slovakia, Estonia, United States, India, and Costa Rica. We came here to help ignite the potential of AIESEC Costa Rica members, but we hope that you will also ignite the potential in us and show us the PURA VIDA way! :) For those that have already registered for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday--don’t worry. You will receive a specially built agenda for Friday sessions to improve your leadership skills and operational capacity. Details of this agenda will be released soon, and you will pay the same price as everyone else. You will be our Special Delegates through the whole conference.
The main agenda for the conference will be released in a few days, but the primary objectives are for you to: Understand the direction of AIESEC Costa Rica. This includes learning of our team vision and our team stand, learning of our strategic initiatives and our plans based on the student and corporate market potential of Costa Rica. Become equipped with skills, knowledge, and competencies. This includes sales techniques and strategies (in every single function), understanding the AIESEC products, process efficiency and scale management, tracking, and learning business techniques essential for today’s world, even outside of AIESEC. Believe. MC 1314 has been meeting with AIESEC Costa Rica members and leaders for the past 1.5 months. We’ve learned so many things about you, and one thing is certain: you have potential. We have a profound belief that if anyone else in the world can do it, Costa Rica can do it too. We will show you what can happen if AIESEC Costa Rica grew 100% in experiences, 200% or even more. Imagine what kind of leader you would become if you were able to successfully fulfill the needs of your market and contribute to the peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential. AIESEC Costa Rica, the time is now. If you want to move forward, move forward together. Registration will be until july 16, and the deadline for the payment is july 18. The fee for ASPIRE will be $70 for all delegates. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or my team. We look forward to seeing you in three weeks, and we look forward to moving forward together as one AIESEC Costa Rica.
All my love, Nagwa
