Keep calm and shamrock on ! Yes. It is a pun; but an awesome title….. Happy [early] Saint Patrick’s Day! I hope you all had an exciting month!! We have several events coming up, so please read this newsletter. The most important is Relay for Life. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can. Cancer changed many lives and still continues to affect many people. That is why we, KEY CLUBBERS, will do the best we can to raise more than we believe. I hope all of you are just as excited as I am Next: the event that is coming is EASTER EGG HUNT. It is where we spread candy around so that little chillun can hunt. It’s pretty exciting to see them scatter around, lookin’ for candy. They get very hyper! So beware. :D <LAST BUT NOT LEAST: IF YOU WANT TO RUN NEXT YEAR FOR AN OFFICE POSITION THE POSSIBLE SLOTS ARE: PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, HISTORIAN, & TREASURER!> To wrap it up, I hope you guys look forward to these events. There’s nothing more memorable than being together, with one another… Serving, caring, and loving :D REMEMBER: Eat your veggies…. THE-OH-SO-WONDERFUL NEWSLETTER March 2012 Issue 7
It is an event where teams, for instance our team is the WARRIORS, camp around a track and take turns walking around the track for the duration of the event.

Key Clubbers: If you have any parents who might want to help us sew some dolls so that we can stuff them, much help would be appreciated!!
In memory of Penny, a young girl who passed away because of brain cancer, PNW Kiwanis District Governor Frank Morehouse founded KCCP in 2010. This program is dedicated to help “change the future and outcome of Children suffering from cancer.” The PNW is going to stay involved in this program until the cure
for cancer is found.
There are several ways we, key clubbers, can contribute: Raise money Go to the hospital and take a tour Spend some time with a cancer patient Any act of kindness is a big difference. If you have any more ideas, feel free to speak up. No one’s stopping you!
WHY SHOULD WE CARE?
Because no child deserves to have cancer. It’s painful for the child and their family. Not just physically, but mentally. It’s devastating. Imagine just happening to have a disease the next day. You, too, would be in pain and scared because anything can happen. You could die the next day without knowing. No child deserves to be left wondering what’s going to happen the next day, but they do deserve a chance of life. But that can only happen if we do something today. We’ve already begun. But if you haven’t, then join the fun because the sooner you start the more
we can get done.
