was a challenge to further improve an already perfect jewel. Taking inspiration from the architecture language of the existing site and pavilion, a prototype of tensegrity model was developed. Multiplying it over the southern end, all the nearby functions (cafe, view deck) were combined with the exhibition space giving rise to a new area program, which would function through summer and winter season of Venice. The new sprawl connects green landscape to the lagoon , creating multiple points for views and vistas and allows the site be permeable all throughout. 8

In that way, the green belt will be continues in our site and also combination of small gardens with agricultural land can create job opportunities for the people who leave in there. WINDROSE & SUN Our site mainly exposed to the winds that are coming from south direction. Considering the direction of the sun and wind, we mainly decided to locate the buildings in north and south axis in order to get more light.

SURROUNDING The site’s immediate surrounding has different qualifications, thats why we need to threat them differently. One of them is the hidh way that limits the site and we have to block the noise and provide security. While the other is the open green space which creates a nice view to our design. The arrangement and the heights of the buildings designed considering them.

MIXED USE We have different typologies in the site, we wanted to carry this idea into R1 too. We designed our residential area with different functions including co-working space, shopping mall, library, cafe etc.
