Despite the fact that it was the only sector to receive a drop in both average basic salary (-2%) and bonus (-28%), HR professionals are the most satisfied with their total remuneration package across all sectors. They were also the most certain that their overall remuneration package is fair given current market conditions (65%), and had the lowest level of dissatisfaction with their bonus (24%). Interestingly, respondents were fairly evenly split as to whether receiving a bonus improves performance, with 50% believing that it does and 40% believing that it does not.
