Learn practical information that will help you improve your personal wellness and nutritional status. Nutrition 101 classes are FREE for members! January 21st: Cooking Tips and Trends- For the savvy chef or the beginner, learn some simple tips and tricks of the trade. Prep tips for common foods (tomato, onions, peppers, etc) Kitchen tools (how to hold a knife, maintain a cutting board, best gadgets) How to season and spice foods (common herb blends for particular dishes) March 18th: Supplements- how much should you really be taking and are they really working? th May 20 : Hydration- meeting the needs of the everyday athlete July 15th: Diet Spotlight: Gluten Free- Learn the in’s and out’s of what this diet is all about – and if it’s right for you September 16th: All about salads- they don’t have to be boring rabbit food! November 18th: Stress and Weight- how the two work together and what you can do to manage it Classes are held from 5:30-6:30pm in the Conference Rooms.
