Workout Idea: Jump Rope Circuit for a cardio & strength training workout! Total Time for 1 Set = 10 Minutes. Repeat depending on desired duration of your workout. For timed workouts, create a playlist on your ipod consisting of songs for the duration you want; each time a song ends you know it is time to transition! • 1 Minute Jump Rope • 2 Minutes Walking Lunges with or without dumbbells incorporating bicep curls as walking • 1 Minute Jump Rope • 2 Minutes Squats (alternating 10 x regular with or without dumbbells either at your sides, on your shoulders or more advanced overhead press with dumbbells, & Single leg squat x 10 on each leg) • 1 Minute Jump Rope • 2 Minutes Alternating Push‐Ups x 10 & Kettlebell swings x 10 • 1 Minute Jump Rope General Guidelines for Jump Rope: Wear shoes & clothes that offer support. Jumping in bare feet may exacerbate foot or ankle dysfunctions. Make sure there is enough space to avoid hitting objects or people. Jump on balls of feet & avoid jumping too high, lift feet only enough to clear the rope.
