Exceptions to this pattern were the use of the Emergency Room for “dental problems” and “having a baby,” which were significantly more prevalent among the Target Population. Responses from both the Target Population and the Random Sample reveal a significant use of emergency services for potentially non-emergent situations including illness, dental problems, earache, anxiety and sprained ankle.
