Access to food and drink services You might know this service previously as Meals on Wheels. North Yorkshire County Council no longer has a direct involvement in arranging, delivering or subsidising meals-on-wheels services. However we have identified a number of organisations across the county who, usually operating as social enterprises, can provide meals to people in their own homes. The organisations include WRVS in various areas of the county, Age UK in Craven and the Sherburn Visiting Service in Sherburn and district. You will be able to discuss directly with providers the service you wish to receive in terms of the type of meal
