About Carbon Magazine describes itself as a fashion magazine & lifestyle blog for awesome young ladies. Carbon Magazine was founded in February 2011. A young magazine that has been catching the eyes of fashion-forward young adults and is still growing exponentially to this day. With the introduction of their April/May 2011 issue, the founder of Carbon magazine, Hilary Pendleton, knew she had something special. While this history is still very much in progress, Carbon Magazine distinguishes itself from other independent magazines with a fresh take on modern trends, fabulous photography and “bridging the gap� between issues with original online content six days a week. Carbon Magazine also prides itself on its effort to showcase independent artists and young writers who are interested in the fashion journalism industry though offering year-round internships and opportunities for submissions. Carbon Magazine hopes to continue producing quality publications to their fans for years to come.

Editorial Calendar Every Carbon issue is made up of at least 3 fashion-forward articles from each Carbon intern and many editorial spreads submitted from up and coming independent photographers from around the world.

2013 Premiere Dates Volume 2, Issue 2: April 29th Sweet Spring: This April issue will feature bright spring trends that translate well to the upcoming summer season. Volume 2, Issue 3: August 26th Fearless Fall: Our fall issue will feature back to school must-haves and the season’s latest trends. Volume 2, Issue 4: December 16th White Winter: As the winter solstice approaches, this issue will focus on winter trends and holiday items.
