01 Who we are Capsule01 is a small agency with big ideas. Creativity is our passion; it’s at the heart of everything we do. Case studies 04.1 Anorak Web 2.0 Project details: Cutting edge AJAX technology Flash-based rich media content Simple content management system Simple, bold layout for young audience Designed to reflect and support printed magazine On going HTML teaser emails

Following on from the initial launch of the Anorak website, and to cater for the growing audience as success increases, we revisited the site. We were able to develop more interactive elements and create a fun place for children aged 3 to 10 to play, learn and be part of the Anorak world online.

The site is maintained through a bespoke content management system helping to keep the site fresh and full of rich, fun content, some of which is created by the children themselves. It uses AJAX technology to deliver this content as fast and as smoothly as possible, conforming to

international web standards and making it accessible to the widest possible audience - a key consideration when the majority of the users are under the age of 10. An active site with new exciting content all the time needs to be updated quickly and easily, without interruption.

With a MySpace audience of well over 90,000, singer / songwriter Shayan Italia needed a content rich site to keep his fans engaged and to showcase his latest work. We created Shayan’s website to appeal to a wide audience, from existing and potential fans to the music

industry and media. Built in Flash, the site uses large, high quality images that allow Shayan’s personality to shine through, while rich media features like integrated custom video and music players showcase his work. For all Shayans fans,

there’s a photo gallery and online store, with 360degree product views. And for those discovering Shayan for the first time, there’s a full biography and press centre. The site is updated regularly with news, tour information and new material.

This new edgy look included a logo, stationery, animated idents and a fresh website designed to attract their core target market of image conscious, music loving 20-30 year olds. The Djoust brand personality really comes to life with animation – a key consideration throughout

In the music industry, image is everything. So when the organisers of UK DJ competition Djoust came to us, they had one clear goal: to get more people to enter and attend the 2007 DJ tournament. This started with a brand overhaul – we gave Djoust more of a personality, an identity that made a strong statement with bold iconography and a more urban, contemporary colour palette.

‘Push Up Toy’ was a banner campaign aimed at the over 40’s – a key supporter group for the charity. It features a retro push up toy dog to engage and evoke nostalgia. Interacting with the floppy, ‘sick’ dog caused it to spring to its feet – showing how easy it is for you to make a difference. If the user doesn’t click through, the dog falls back to the ground -

The PDSA is a pets charity - ‘Give Something Back’ is an ongoing multi-channel campaign designed to raise awareness and funds. Our role was to both create a web-hub that the campaign feeds into, and supply targeted online advertising collateral.

reinforcing the message that “without your help, It won’t get better”. The banners click through to the Give Something Back website, where visitors are invited to explore the different ways they can support the PDSA pets. The site also features downloadable content such as pet care leaflets, wallpapers and video downloads of the latest television ads.


Case studies 04.5 Coexist E-commerce Edgy, urban and image conscious would sum up London-based clothing label, Coexist. So their online shop needed to reflect these brand qualities and make the retail experience smooth and easy. We created a Flash site including a full online catalogue with a fully functional shopping system.

Each product in the Coexist range is shown in being worn in an urban environment – bringing the texture and shape of each item to life. There are up to five accompanying images per garment to show different angles and focus on the details. The Coexist shop front is driven by a custom-built database, featuring real time stock control with minimal administration time through a simple, powerful interface.
