Pembroke College Pembroke, the third oldest Cambridge College, is in the city centre, just a stone’s throw away from many departments. We combine our long history with a commitment to innovation and diversity. just a short cycle from College. We also have lively drama and music societies. Pembroke students flourish, and we do everything we can to offer the academic, pastoral and financial support they deserve.
At the heart of a bustling city, the College is an intimate oasis, with spacious gardens and a large site. Pembroke students live on the main site or in College-owned houses nearby for the duration of their undergraduate studies and our accommodation ranges from the old to the new. Our food is renowned for its quality, with lots of choice at a reasonable price. We have a bar, café, computer room, gym, music practice rooms, library and more, as well as sports fields
Members of Pembroke are united by a deep interest in their subject, their intellectual curiosity and their commitment, but at the same time they respect each other’s right to be different within the College’s inclusive and friendly ethos. We are keen to attract the brightest students who will build on our recent record of outstanding academic success, and we would particularly encourage those really talented students whose school may have little experience of Cambridge and who may feel nervous about making a Cambridge application, to think about applying to us.

In admissions we place a great deal of emphasis on academic record to date and believe very strongly in providing a transparent process. In short, no matter what your background, if you’re one of the brightest students in your school or college, we would like to hear from you. You represent our future!
Pembroke is a wonderful, open, friendly environment in which to live and study. All the students and staff here are approachable and friendly. It doesn’t take very long to settle in and feel part of it. Victoria
