V3L 1H9 ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 7414, 2010 and ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 7417, 2010 1) ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 7414, 2010 Location: 21 and 27 Eighth Avenue (shown hatched on the sketch plan) Purpose: The purpose of this bylaw is to rezone the properties located at 21 and 27 Eighth Avenue from Community Commercial Districts (C-2) and Local Commercial Districts (C-1) to Comprehensive Development District (21 – 27 Eighth Avenue) (CD-30). The applicant proposes to develop two commercial and residential mixed use buildings (one on each lot). 2) ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 7417, 2010 Location: 2,200 square feet/204.4 square meter portion of the City lane behind the properties at 504 and 508 Sixth Avenue (shown hatched on the sketch plan) BYLAW NO. 7414 Purpose: The purpose of this bylaw is to rezone a portion of the lane at the rear of 504 and 508 Sixth Avenue to Commercial Parking Districts (CP-1) and consolidate the lane with those properties to construct a four storey commercial project. Following construction of the building, the lane would be restored to its current use for vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Public Participation: At the hearing, the public shall be allowed to make representations to the Council respecting matters contained in the proposed bylaws. All persons who believe their interest in the property is affected by the proposed bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard, or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the bylaw. Written submissions can be submitted to the Corporate Officer until the close of the Public Hearing. All persons who prefer to have their BYLAW NO. 7417 submissions available to Council members in advance as part of the Public Hearing agenda package, should deliver their submissions to Legislative Services, City Hall 511 Royal Avenue, New Westminster, B.C. V3L 1H9 (Fax #: 604-527-4594), by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
