Peewee hockey
Langley Eagles hockey teams played the part of Grinch, as far as their opponents were concerned, at a Christmas tournament in Chilliwack. Members of the Langley Minor Hockey Association’s peewee A1 and A3 Eagles teams took part in the 53rd annual Chilliwack PeeWee Hockey Jamboree between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Both Langley teams did exceptional jobs representing LMHA with the A1 Eagles team going undefeated before winning their division title against the SeaFair Islanders A1 team. The hard-working A3 Eagles team battled to a record of 4-1-1 against highertiered divisional foes (the Cloverdale A2 Colts, Chilliwack A2 Bruins, Nanaimo A2 Clippers, South Delta A2 Storm, and the Ridge Meadows A2 Rustlers) before advancing to and winning its final match against the Ridge Meadows A2 Rustlers
