engaging panel discussion by Stark County leaders from various quadrants of our community. “Too often, business professionals hear the word ‘diversity’ and immediately interpret it as dealing solely with race relations. That’s only one part of the equation,” explained Kelli J. Scott, SCHRA diversity chairperson and workforce planning & diversity coordinator for Aultman Health Foundation.“This conference’s first objective is to introduce attendees to the full spectrum of diversity, including aspects of generational, gender and sexual orientation differences, individuals who are differently-abled and even difference in education and experience level.” Speakers include Mayor William J. Healy II and Robert Torres, director of development for the City of Canton, Dr. Tameka Taylor and Ruth Ramos from Compass Consulting Services, Aimee Belden, director of ystark!, Traci Dunn from The Timken Company and Rev. Mark Simone from the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls among others. The conference will be held at The University Center at Kent State University at Stark and includes a continental breakfast, lunch and other refreshments.
