Canter Brokerage Over the Years January 2007: Andrew Canter opens Canter Companies, a vertically integrated real estate and investment firm.

January 2014: Canter Brokerage, the retail real estate division of Canter Companies, opens for business.

April 2014: Expanding along the coast of San Diego, Canter opens its second office location in Bird Rock.

August 2016: Downtown La Jolla becomes the new home for Canter Companies’ third location.

January 2017: 65% growth in sales for 2016 at the close of the year.

March 2017: Growing its team to 75 active agents, Canter Brokerage continues expansion up the California coast and opens its fourth location in Encinitas.

November 2017: Canter Brokerage hits $500,000,000 in sales with 85 active agents.

January 2018: Canter Brokerage is the third largest brokerage in downtown San Diego (Canter’s headquarters), based on sales volume.
