My Summer Adventures

Welcome Back! I would like to start off by first welcoming you all back. I hope that you all had a fantastic summer break. I am Ms. Cook and I will be your Biology 30 instructor for this year. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you in your last year of secondary studies.

Ms. Cook’s Facts Since we will be working together over the course of this year I feel there are some facts you should know about me. I grew up on a farm in Kinuso, and for those of you who don't know where that is, it is about 20 minutes North West of the town of Slave Lake. I graduated from Kinuso School in 2010. I love playing sports although I’m not very good at any, I played on the volleyball team in high school. On my free time I enjoy getting outside and going quading, skidooing, and boating. My favorite time of the year is my birthday which is on September 12 and if anyone wanted to get me a present I love Tim Hortons coffee.

This summer was very exciting for me because my sister got married! She is the first of my siblings to tie the knot. For her bachelorette party we all went paintballing and I still have bruises from it. Here is a picture of me and my sister ready for paintball, I am the one on the right. Also this summer my Grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary. Lots of family came down to visit and celebrate their anniversary. Here is a picture of some of my more immediate family. This summer was also very hectic with all the fires and flooding in our area. Luckily the fires didn't effect us too much but as you can see by the picture bellow we were effected by the floods. Even with the floods and fires I have to say I had a great summer and I look forward to hearing all about your
