Support in Uncertain Times
Individuals impacted by cancer know how stressful it can be to cope with uncertainty. Change and uncertainty is a commom contributor to stress. Sometimes it is helpful to find comfort in something that is constant and reliable. The Cancer Support Center staff would like our participants to think of us as a constant source of support in an uncertain and ever-changing world. We will continue to offer support and wellness programs in a safe manner.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING Journeying Inward: Deep Relaxation for Well-being and Stress Relief Wednesday, August 19th; 3-4 PM Join us for this exploration of body, mind and breath as we gently move into a peaceful space in which profound healing and renewal can occur. This experience will combine gentle movement, relaxing breathwork and guided imagery. We will conclude with an opportunity for reflection and optional sharing. Sit in a comfy chair or rest on the floor on a yoga mat or sleeping bag; have a blanket, pillow, bolster and/or eye pillow close by to create comfort. Choose a space that is quiet and private; turn off TV, radio and phone ringer. Facilitated by Cecily Hunt
