COUNTRY EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF AUSTRALIA (CEFA)

Centrelink recipients may be entitled to a 50% concession on course/skills recognition fees. Concessions must be applied for before the student tax invoice due date, and prior to making any payments.

STUDENT PAYMENT PLANS Student payment plans can be set up for students to make payments throughout the current semester weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

CEFA, in partnership with CIT provides financial help to rural students. Visit cef.org.au.

THE CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY (CSU) UNIVERSITY PATHWAY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Open to CIT students interested in completing a CSU undergraduate degree. Visit csu.edu.au.

ACT GOVERNMENT FEE ASSISTANCE

CIT INDIGENOUS SCHOLARSHIPS

This provides support for students in financial hardship with some of the cost of fees and/or course materials.

CIT Yurauna Centre, located in F Block at CIT Reid, provides scholarships and a broad range of support services for Indigenous students enrolled at CIT.

FEE-HELP FEE-HELP is a delayed loan scheme that assists eligible fee-paying students to repay fees for degree courses. The loan is repaid through the Australian Tax Office (ATO) once the designated income threshold is reached. Visit studyassist.gov.au.

VET FEE-HELP VET FEE-HELP is similar to FEE-HELP and available for specific CIT diploma and advanced diploma courses. Visit studyassist.gov.au.

WOMEN’S RETURN TO WORK GRANTS PROGRAM ACT Available through the Women’s Information and Referral Centre. Visit wirc.act.gov.au or call (02) 6205 2885.

CENTRELINK EDUCATION PAYMENTS In addition to regular Centrelink payments, CIT students may be entitled to further support for educational costs. Visit centrelink.gov.au or any Centrelink office.

YOU COULD STUDY FOR FREE There are no tuition fees for some programs including the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), Certificate I in Learning Options, Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program and Access10. CIT Student Association fees may still apply. Fee concessions and fee assistance are available for eligible students on all other programs.
