Greenfield Tri-ennial Homecoming pageant contestants announced
Greenfield will celebrate its Tri-ennial Homecoming on Thursday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 6 on the square in Greenfield. The parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday night, Aug. 4 and the everpopular Miss Greenfield Pageant will take place on Friday evening at 7 p.m. where Cassie Borcky, the 2013 Miss Greenfield Tri-
ennial Homecoming, and Elaina Lansaw, the 2013 Little Miss Greenfield Triennial Homecoming, will be retiring their crowns. All events will take place on the Greenfield Square at Veteran’s Park. Kid’s Day will be held on Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m. with a performance by ventriloquist/magician Mike Niehaus and Meatball at noon.

The combination of very high temperatures and precipitation can lead to pavement expanding and ultimately buckling or blowing out, causing uneven driving surfaces in some areas.
