Ten Commandments of Dressing

by Victor Perkins Mens Fashion Stylist Born in 1976 in the heart of London. At an early age I was introduced to styling from my Father. I developed my creative flair and studied at the London School of Fashion. I then worked in the Fashion Industry as a stylist. I take pride in my appearance and have always said that what separates a great outfit from a good outfit is the ‘detail’. I enjoy and am passionate about styling myself and others. I inspire and style clients according to their body shape, and help them to find their own style, and understand how to incorporate their ideas into their attire, experiment with colours and boost their confidence. My aim is to educate and inspire people to enhance their look and to make them feel confident in their own style.

1) Make sure you use the iron! 2 Ensure your shirt collar is sitting right and clean. 3) When tying the knot of your tie make sure it is straight, and the bottom/long part of the tie, stops at your navel 4) Especially with trousers only have one seam! 5) Don't wear trousers to high above your shoes. 6) make sure your shoes are polished. 7) Take time when choosing a new suit, to make sure the suit fits. Consider inviting a close friend or companion to accompany you and advise you of the fit. 8) When wearing a jacket only do up the first button. 9) Never put things like wallets/keys in the front pocket of the suit/ jacket, it pulls the pocket out of shape and disfigures the look of your suit/j`jacket 10) make sure your clothes are colour-coordinated.
