It's that kind of service that will keep me going back for more Cat backhoes in the future." Lourenco says that he hopes to replace his entire fleet of Cat backhoes soon with the latest and greatest models soon, like the Cat 420F II. "I am very content with the size of my business right now. I am in a comfortable place and hate to overstep after personally experiencing what a bad down cycle can be like," says Lourenco. "2008 was a crazy year. We had just purchased a brand-new 2008 Cat 420E backhoe and were making a run to expand that year.
Things slowed down instead, and I had to sell my first backhoe (a Cat 420D) to a friend. Things could have completely fallen apart, but I had some luck and managed to hang on. We have never really had the chance to get comfortable, but we are doing good, and I am happy for what I have and look forward to a bright future." Lourenco Backhoe is headquartered in San Bernardino and works throughout Southern California.
