Life these days is busy! Between family, work, church, community, and keeping up with our kids’ activities, there is rarely time to sit down with a good book or magazine -- much less a school newsletter! Luckily, the “Warrior News” has recently undergone an electronic make-over so families can read CAK news via email and online. There has been so much positive feedback regarding the new Warrior e-News, which compliments the printed version every two weeks, that we have decided to make the printed newsletter a monthly publication and let the e-News take over as the bi-weekly communication method between CAK and our families. December will mark the first monthly “Warrior News” and the Warrior e-News will follow the current bi-weekly schedule.

Gather Weekly to Pray for Our School What a better way to start each week than among friends in prayer? Each Monday morning after drop-off (8:00 am, or 9:30 am on Staff Development days), a group of dedicated “Prayer Warriors” meet to spend an hour with the Lord in prayer on behalf of CAK. “We view this as a ministry to the staff, teachers, and students of CAK,” explains elementary parent Lisa Cate. “Our hope is for Christ to come alive on this campus as never before.” The prayer group prays for anything and everything affecting the school. All parents and grandparents are welcome to join the group each Monday in the Gathering Room of the Elementary School. For more information, contact Lisa at (865) 690-2189 or Renae Johnson at (865) 690-6019.
