ADVERTISING & SPONSORSHIPS WHAT’S NEW IN 2020?

2020

WELCOME TO CAI-CV’S ADVERTISING & SPONSORSHIP PLAN FOCUS ON EDUCATION CAI-CV has transformed into the Valley’s HOA education powerhouse. We have quadrupled the hours of classes available to our members and established many new corresponding sponsorships that allow business partners and management company members to build their reputation by elevating the HOA industry through education. In 2020, CAI-CV will offer its members and the community more than 275 hours of education and 40 hours of networking events. Most of CAI-CV’s sponsorships directly relate to some form of education. Your support, both financial and time, allows CAI to continue its mission of building better HOA communities.

MAXIMIZE YOUR INVESTMENT – MAKE EVERY DOLLAR COUNT The 2020 plan is organized into three sections: ADVERTISING, EDUCATION and NETWORKING events. Investing in all three will MAXIMIZE your success. Additionally, we encourage you to join the committees that are responsible for the events and programs where you are investing. RELATIONSHIPS are the key to business success in the Coachella Valley. Become a Corporate Sponsor to tie your company’s name to CAI events throughout the year. Corporate Sponsorship levels start at $1,500 per year.

ATTENDING EVENTS – PURCHASE YOUR OWN RESERVED TABLE New in 2020, CAI-CV is offering reserved tables to many events and programs. Purchasing a table allows you the certainty that you and your guests will have seats together where you can continue to build relationships. Most managers and board members appreciate being sponsored. The best way to maximize your CAI-CV investment is to attend events and invite your key clients to attend with you.

VOLUNTEER – JOIN A CAI-CV COMMITTEE After choosing your sponsorships, turn to pages 41-45 and fill out the committee volunteer form. CAI-CV depends on our committee volunteers to continue to offer first-class programing. You can join a committee any time by filling out the committee volunteer form. New members are welcome throughout the year. The time commitment is typically around 8 hours per month. Maximize your involvement by choosing to serve on committees where you are investing in sponsorships.

SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORS......$300 PER EVENT

RECOGNITION

Most CAI-CV events offer a Scholarship Sponsorship. The money collected from Scholarship Sponsors will go to CAI-CV’s Scholarship Fund, which is used to support members who request financial help for educational purposes. Please see the Order Form for Scholarship Sponsorship opportunities. Scholarship Sponsors will be recognized on signage, at the event and in Quorum Magazine.

CAI-CV does its best to fully recognize sponsors at events and programs. However, recognition as described in this brochure is subject to change. Recognition in flyers may refer to electronic flyers. If recognition is mistakenly omitted, CAI-CV will offer equal or better recognition opportunity at an upcoming event, program or in Quorum Magazine.

CLAC SPONSORS....................$300 PER EVENT Most CAI-CV events will offer a CLAC Sponsorship. The money collected from CLAC Sponsors will go toward CAI-CV’s annual commitment to the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC), a nonprofit CAI educational affiliate. CLAC raises funds from all eight California chapters to educate legislators and propose, track and advocate legislative solutions to common interest development (CID) issues. CLAC Sponsors will be recognized on signage, at the event and in Quorum Magazine.

NON-MEMBER SPONSORSHIP PRICING Non-member pricing for CAI-CV advertising and sponsorships is 50 percent more than member pricing.

CAI-CV welcomes suggestions on recognizing sponsors. Please contact the CAI-CV office at. (760) 341–0559 with your ideas. To be recognized on printed materials or on the website, sponsorships must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to the event or program.

CANCELLATION POLICY CAI-CV works off an accrual budget so when you sign up for advertising and sponsorships, your dollars are counted as paid. Cancellation of any advertising or sponsorship will result in a $100 administrative fee if cancelled at least 90 days prior to the event or advertising deadline. No refunds will be given for sponsorships or advertising cancelled less than 90 days prior to an event or advertising deadline. Advertising and sponsorships that remain unpaid after January 10, 2019 will be offered to CAI-CV members and, in some cases, other CAI chapter members.

SIGN IN FOR MEMBER PRICING If you are purchasing sponsorships or advertising at CAI-CV.ORG, you must be signed in to receive member discounts. Call the CAI-CV office if you need information about your log-in name and password. After January 10, 2019, unsold sponsorships and advertising will be available to purchase online at CAICV.ORG.

LATE PAYMENTS If a member needs to postpone payment, call Ashley immediately. Unless a payment plan has been approved, members who are 90 days late will be suspended.

PREPAYMENT IS A GUARANTEE OF SPONSORSHIP Sponsorships are limited and sold to the first member who requests and pays for them by January 10, 2020. Members who are unable to prepay for their sponsorships may contact Ashley at the CAI-CV office to be placed on a waiting list for specific opportunities. However, sponsorships will be confirmed on a first–come, first–served basis as soon as payment is received. Advertisements and sponsorships that are unsold after January 10, 2020 may be offered to the general membership and some sponsorships may be offered to members of other CAI chapters.

ADDITIONAL SPONSORSHIPS AND DATE CHANGES CAI-CV will make every effort to ensure the dates in this brochure stay in place. However, occasionally dates must be changed. If a date change is unacceptable to a sponsor, CAI-CV will credit the member. CAI-CV committees have worked to provide our members with a comprehensive list of sponsorships; however, changes occur during the year and new sponsorships may become available. New sponsorships will be offered first to the event’s existing sponsors and then to the general membership, and sold on a first–come, first–served basis. Sponsorships are limited so that sponsors receive advertising & sponsorship value equal or greater to their financial investment. Limits on sponsorships are noted throughout the brochure in parenthesis. A few sponsorships are limited to a certain membership class and some sponsorships limit the number a member may buy in a year. Please call the CAI-CV office if you would like further clarification about sponsorship limits.
