surfBoard TECH cork window

+ Reveals the cork layer below

CORK CONSTRUCTION

The concept of using relatively thin, strong cork sheets bonded to thicker, lightweight core materials has allowed the surfboards to be flexible, light and highly durable.

alutech rails

+ Added durability and bling

+ Light weight to strength ratio + Low resin absorption - Excellent bonding + Recovery: Cork recovers up to 85% of its original thickness after impact + flexibility of the cork adapts to curved surfaces better than wood

eco friendly

+ Sustainable cork (bark) is harvested leaving tree to regenerate + Each time cork is harvested, cork bark regenerates itself. Cork oak trees store CO2 in order to regenerate, and therefore a harvested cork oak tree absorbs 3 to 5 times more than one which is not harvested, thus benefiting the atmosphere + Cork naturally creates a hexagon or pentagon pattern in a closed cell arrangement + Trims and waste is 100% recyclable

progressive flex fins

+ Increased Flex for stronger turning

surfboard cross section custom eva pads

Thicker cushioning in the forward pad and increased kick tail in the rear pad.

The cork layer is located directly below the topsheet skin, and bonds to the top of the EPS core
