SCREEN INDUSTRY GIVES BACK TO THE EMERGING SECTOR AND SUPPORTS OPEN CHANNEL’S GEN NEXT CONFERENCE OPEN CHANNEL’S inaugural - GENERATION NEXT DRAMA AND COMEDY CONFERENCE which caters th st for the Emerging Screen Sector is being held on – August 30 and 31 - Cinema Nova, Carlton, Melbourne Supported by Film Victoria, Open Channel's Generation Next Drama and Comedy Conference is a 2day program of curated seminars, panel discussions and presentations that will provide Victoria's emerging and early career screen practitioners with the opportunity to engage with their peers, meet and mingle with experienced screen writers, directors, producers, financiers, industry guilds, broadcasters and commissioners. The Conference is a priceless opportunity to hear from actor Lachy Hulme of Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War and Beaconsfield and Laura Waters Producer of Chris Lilley’s smash hit Summer Heights High.
