MFL Lockdown Challenge Stella Chandler Stella submitted an incredible four entries for the MFL Lockdown Challenge! We shared two of them in the last edition of Aspire, Believe Achieve, and here are the other two - a poem about chocolate and a video about her family.


Sports Psychology, Sport Science Molly Watson Molly has been researching what motivates elite sports performers. Molly was able to find a number of different factors and motivations and explain how their motivation levels impacted their performance. Well done Molly.


The Effect of Length on Resistance of Wire Millie Clarke During a required practical for Physics, Millie collected her own data by conducting the practical online. Millie then plotted the data collected into a very beautiful graph using Jamboard! Well done.


MFL Lockdown Challenge Taylor Cox Taylor wrote and illustrated a poem for the MFL Lockdown Challenge. Très bien, Taylor!


MFL Lockdown Challenge Roman Hewes Roman completed a Duolingo marathon where he did two to three lessons every hour from 8am to 8pm. Wow - you must have been exhausted!


This Takes The Absolute Biscuit! Jack Gallacher This is an example of the creative thinking that students use to solve a problem. The task was to build a model of Graphene at home to demonstrate understanding. I suggested cocktail sticks and plasticine, but this is what Jack created. It put a smile on my face for the whole day. Thank you Jack!


Play Opportunities, Child Development Millie Clarke Millie has explained and used examples of how specific play opportunities can affect children’s areas of development. Excellent work Millie. Well done!


MFL Lockdown Challenge Lucy Boddice Lucy submitted two entries for the MFL Lockdown Challenge, a fabulous video and a self portrait. Très impressionnant, Lucy!


Science: Ecosystems Roman Hewes Fantastic drawings of an ocean ecosystem. Well done Roman!


Maths Additional Challenges Lilly Dennis Well done for continually asking for additional work during lockdown, and always trying to challenge yourself in Maths!


MFL Lockdown Challenge April Koger Well done April for maintaining such an amazing Duolingo streak. No doubt it’s even more impressive by now!


Mental and Physical Wellbeing, PE Lilly Dennis Lilly was inspired by a recent discussion in her PE lesson to go home and create a presentation explaining the benefits of exercise to physical and mental wellbeing. Excellent dedication Lilly, well done.


Badminton Kayla, Harry, Joe, Jazmine, Charlie, Tilly, Olivia, Benjamin Year 7 students were concentrating on body positioning and preparation for a co-operative rally. They did a great job!
