Leichhardt Youth Council Leichhardt Youth Council is a group of volunteer young people aged 12 – 24 years who meet fortnightly. The Youth Council involves young people in issues that affect them by providing them with a forum for discussion and action. The Youth Council also gives young people the opportunity to work on community projects such as Something Really Epic. Something Really Epic was created by Leichhardt Youth Council to support and showcase local young musicians and to also provide young people the opportunity to enjoy a great night out with their friends locally. Something Really Epic first rocked Leichhardt Town Hall in 2006. This year’s event will take place during National Youth Week 2012.
