F U T U R E D E V E L O P M E N T S NORTH SOUTH CORRIDOR TUNNEL

The North South Corridor (NSC) willbe Singapore’s longestTransitPriorityCorridor, featuringdedicated bus lanes, cycling trunk routes and pedestrian paths as itdirectly connectthe Northernregion andthe city centre. With dedicated and continuousbus lanes coupled with bus priority signals, bus commuters will be expected to save an average of 10 to 15 minutes of travel time.

Activemobility users and pedestrianswill also benefit from NSC, through the cycling trunk routes and pedestrian paths. This links the Park Connector Network and localcycling paths within HDB towns alongthe entirecorridor, enhancing connectivity for activemobility users and pedestrians.

The NSC tunnel willbe next to Bukit Timah Road

Possible future developments for thesehouses are conservation works as they are includedin the conservation area of Little India. They might be for residential use in thefuture as many of the other terrace houses nearbyare also for residential use.
