Many thanks Marion Connell Secretary

Paul Hassall & Peter Nixon

The Men’s Junior Pairs this year changed from 1– 7 year Pairs to 1 – 10 year Pairs. After Section play only two teams managed to qualified for Post Section play and it was arranged for the Final between the 2 qualifiers to be played on Wednesday evening, 20th March. Paul Hassall and Peter Nixon started like a house on fire jumping out to a 11 – 0 lead. Then Mac Fa’atafa and Digby Gudsell began the fight back, forcing a draw at the finish of 15 ends. On the extra end Paul managed to get the shot bowl and take the match.
