APPALACHIAN EXCHANGE PROGRAM SPRING 2012 Study in the mountains of North Carolina, USA Appalachian State University Appalachian State University Appalachian State University, located in Boone, North Carolina, is home to over 16,600 students. Application Please follows these steps Step 1: go to Step 2: Click on International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) Step 3: Click on International students and then on Exchange students Specific Information, scroll down to the middle of the page to download the application. Step 4: Information should be typed in before students can print it and submit it to the dean’s office (IC 102) by 26 August 2011 (Friday) Step 5: Take an English test on 1 September 2011 (Thursday) Place: IC 206 Time: .1.30 p.m. Step 6: Take an Interviewing test on 8 September 2011 (Thursday) Place: The Executive meeting room (IC 206) Time: 1.30 p.m. Step 7: Announcement for the Success candidates Place: Announcement board (1st Floor) Date: 16 September 2011 Step 8: Prepare documents The Dean’s Office (Khun Kiti) at IC 102 Date: 19 September 2011 Step 9: Send all documents to ASU by 29 September 2011

9 January to 11 May 2012 : - Arrive in Charlotte, North Carolina, for transportation to ASU early January. - Two day orientation starts in early January followed by informal activities - Classes start in early January - Finals are in early May Accommodation : Housing arranged by ASU. Students reside in the Living and Learning Center (LLC), along with other ASU students.

- BUUIC will support the cost of accommodation and meals (under academic collaboration) - Students will pay tuition and fees as usual at BUUIC - Students will take responsibility for airfare (about 80,000 baht) - Two candidates will be selected

Qualifications for candidates: 1.Must earn GPA > 3.00 2.Have studied at BUUIC for at least 4 semesters
