Keynot e Sp eaker Profiles Andrew Davis Digital and Online Business / Branding and Reputation As one of Britain's foremost social media experts, Andrew Davis has trained teams at Saatchi, Ogilvy, Blackberry, MTV and the Premier League. He is also part of Doug Richards' School for Start Ups, advising on digital strategy. Andrew started his career by running chat rooms for Pop Idol in the early days of reality TV talent shows. He also worked on Friends Reunited, before joining the BBC to help launch the digital urban music station, Radio 1Xtra. He then played a leading role in propelling MySpace from one to ten million UK users in under a year; Andrew was responsible for building the brand including community development, content and digital marketing. During his Presentation Andrew will explain how social media is evolving and what it means for business. Taking music and entertainment as a precedent and a common theme, he explains how to keep the conversation going. He also asks "So what?" - underlining the need to make each aspect of your digital strategy work alongside traditional business building, marketing and branding. A visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths College, Andrew Davis also designed the first social media course linked to GCSE English. He featured in Media Week's 30 Under 30, and The Guardian's report on the top ethnic minority contributors to British media.

Adrian Webster Customer Service - Putting customers at the heart of everything we do Adrian is probably the most entertaining and effective motivational speaker in the UK. He specialises in delivering key messages in a humorous and completely unique, down to earth style that audiences can easily relate to. His addictively inspirational presentations help people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds to make a very real difference in their workplace. To help ‘fund’ his career, Adrian started selling a wide range of products, ranging from frozen food to houses. He quickly discovered he could make some real money in sales and began to take selling seriously, the part time sales side soon took over as his full time career. In 1987 he moved into I.T sales and by 1989 he had established himself as one of the most successful sales professionals in the industry. After two highly successful years as Corporate Sales Manager of US Robotics, he joined Northamber Plc as Group Sales and Training Manager responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and ‘driving’ 150 staff to achieve phenomenal success on shoestring budgets. It was during this time, out of pure necessity to inspire and retain staff Adrian discovered an ability to turn teams of everyday people with little or no ability into some of the most productive in the industry. In 2010 Adrian followed in the footsteps of Sir Richard Branson, Kofi Annan, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Rudy Giuliani, Al Gore and Stelios Haji-Ioannou by addressing business leaders alongside former Prime Minister Tony Blair at the 2010 Swiss Economic Forum in Interlaken. He has also delivered presentations for numerous leading companies, which include; BT PLC, Thomson Airways, AXA PPP, IBM, UBS, Siemens and DHL Freight to name just a few. Adrian Webster has written two books; ‘Polar Bear Pirates and Their Quest to Reach Fat City’ and ‘Polar Bear Pirates and Their Quest to Engage the Sleepwalkers’ which are available worldwide.
