Dear Business Fit readers, We are experiencing hard times at the moment and since we are all involved in this unusual situation I have been thinking and sharing with my friends and colleagues thoughts about how we can rise up in during these very challenging times. 2020 has been an absolute year of uncertainty and chaos. Do you agree? But chaos pushes us to transform, to move forward or maybe to disappear. Some years ago I was interviewing my dear friend, Ismael Cala, who is one of the most renowned life and human development strategists, he is also a bestselling author and international speaker. It was the first time that I heard the acronym VUCA, it stands for Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous. This is my understanding of the acronym nowadays: Volatile refers to the speed of change in an industry, market or the world in general. Uncertainty is the extent to which we can confidently predict the future. The more uncertain the world is, the harder it is to predict.

Complexity signifies the number of factors we need to take into account, their variety and the relationship between them. Ambiguity refers to the lack of clarity on how to interpret something when the information we receive is incomplete or not accurate. Before it was more as a theory to me and now suddenly, we have to apply and live in it. I have come to an understanding that one of the ways of building a more secure world and being able to better face these many challenges, could be to prevent them from working in our connections with others. To care about others, to grow in abundance, to create a world where we can all happily live based on education and love. There is richness provided from mother nature so we should start working as a team, each of us creating holistic businesses without elevating our egos, it is time to connect with our souls on a deeper level. This situation has proven to us that we are all connected dear readers So I would say let’s start working on our values, how we collaborate to build goodness, how we expand our empathy towards others, why don’t we work on our loyalty for a bigger purpose? This is one of the ways I have chosen dear Business Fit readers, lets RISE together.
