Anchor Facility

Situated at the heart of Deira, The Botique Hotel experiences activity in the “active power” of Architecture and is used to transmit an explosion of motion within the comfort of the Hotel. This is achieved through “anistopic” a concept that describe the structure the combination of nature and creating a new experience. This concept is produced throughout the experience of water that surrounds the hotel and creating the element that Dubai. The Hotel in its experience sheds energy from nature into the spaces through its voids, balconies and roof gardens.

A glimpse of a structure from Jumeirah Road is a mystery that unveils itself to the visitor, offering the chance to stop, reflect and create an experience within. This concept is applied throughout the design the design of this atelier by maintaining a practical working environment. The building is the story of the architects and staff within, they create their own tale behind the structure. The exterior facades are created to isolate the building from its surrounding yet the hidden building is transparent within itself. Within the separation a new space is created. The exterior walls play a role in shading and surrounding the building with greenary to generate the natural cooling which is sustainable due to the reason of Dubai’s harsh sunlight. The openings are created into account to bring in sunlight, in the west and south side for sunlight while on the north and east side the building is transparent. The office consists of three levels, divided on the hierachy of the multifunctional environements such as the working place and model making rooms, and on the second level not as active in comparison to the fist level but the area is for the higher social status as the design principals office, and small extrusion are created through the balconies to view the ground level and to create a natural environment. This atelier is a place where art, creativity, imagination and function meets.
