Richard Bailey

Richard is 69 years old, married to Lou for 44 years with three children, Sally, Pete & Gillie and four grandchildren, Anouk, Sam, Max & Toby. After many years working for himself as a farmer & running a livestock market reporting business, in December 2001 Richard joined the successful Bushby Property Group team. Now, as an established leader in the Launceston real estate scene, Richard specialises in the Northern suburbs of Invermay and Mowbray and has experienced great sales success in not only these areas, but the other surrounding suburbs of Launceston as well. He also has a loyal client following owing to his commitment to delivering top quality customer service and giving both buyers & sellers alike a “wow” experience. Richard has spent a lot of his life on various committees & was a founding member of the Longford Apex Club, life member of Wilmot Cricket Association & Cressy Cricket Club, past President of Cressy Parents & Friends Association & former State tennis selector. With a strong belief in the importance of training, Richard has travelled interstate to learn from the very best real estate agents in Australia and New Zealand. As your Property Representatives, we will work directly with Bushby’s in-house Marketing Department, aptly named Bushby Studios, to ensure that the marketing strategy we decide on will be a great success! About Bushby Studios: Bushby Studios was established in 2010 when the Directors of Bushby Property Group took the bold step to develop an in-house Marketing Department that would provide superior media and marketing services to its staff and clients. Using their passion for the real estate industry, combined creativity, knowledge and multifaceted experience throughout multiple fields of work (such as photography, videography, architecture and interior design, social media, design and more), the Bushby Studios team is able to help discern what marketing campaign will be the most effective for each individual property to showcase it in its best light. Navigating through current marketing trends, Bushby Studios helps Bushby Property Group to stay at the forefront of innovation for the real estate industry, often at times adapting new technologies to fit our industry’s needs.

Our in-house marketing department oversees a plethora of tasks revolving around marketing and media including: professional photography and videography, the production of high quality floorplans, Matterport Pro (Virtual Reality) 3D/360 degree virtual property tours, graphic design for online and print, management of our SEO/SEM campaign to ensure top placement of our website within Google, and so much more.


4 Photography and Videography Our main goal is to present your property in its best possible light. To do so, professional photography and videography is a must to ensure that your property appears desirable to potential buyers throughout the duration of your marketing campaign. Photography: We photograph our properties with a professional camera fitted with a wide-angle lens, flash and other top-quality equipment because we recognise the difference between photos that an agent takes and the photos taken by our Bushby Studios photographer. We can also offer you professional twilight photography of your property, if you wish. Videography: It’s no secret that ‘all things video’ is the direction our world is currently headed. With social media, television, Netflix and digital platforms becoming more prevalent, now is the time to hop onboard. As your Property Representatives, we highly suggest implementing a professional video as part of your property’s marketing strategy. Evidence shows that video significantly increases property enquiries; this is because most consumers nowadays are time poor, meaning they want to gain information in the quickest and easiest way possible (i.e video!) Bushby Studios has a wide range of innovative camera gear available to highlight the unique features of your property. When choosing video, you have the option for your video to be presented by us, your Property Representatives, or if you prefer, we can dedicate the video to focus on the features of your property only. 5 Drone Photos and Video Bushby Property Group is able to offer you professional drone footage of your property, as we have a drone operator in-house. By using drone photos and video, we can truly show prospective purchasers the potential of your property, thus maximising the impact of your marketing strategy. Drone technology
