There are now more and better ICT resources to engage the pupils in self-directed learning. The new website is now at http://lms.asknlearn.com . To encourage pupils to be more independent in their learning, there will be E-learning tasks set for all the pupils every Week 3, 6 and 9 of each term. Pupils are encouraged to log on to the AsknLearn portal for E-learning updates regularly. As for the Primary One and Two pupils, since they are younger and new to the system, the activities are not compulsory but strongly encouraged to get them familiarise with the system. The first E-learning week will start 8 Feb 2011 and it will close after one week.

To log in to the new portal, check on “Primary” and select “Bukit Panjang Primary School” (refer to diagram Arrow 1), followed by both the user ID and password which are your child’s Birth Certificate Number. Once your child has logged in, he or she will be prompted to change his or her password. Please ensure that your child remembers the new password and records it in a secured place.

As the parent, you could also log on to the Parents’ Portal at the same website to monitor your child’s work and progress. Click on “Parents’ Portal” at the top-right-hand corner of the webpage (refer to diagram Arrow 2). The login ID is your child’s Birth Certificate Number and the password is “parents”. You will be prompted to change your password at the first login.
