So there is a lot more to the utilization of a wholesaler's margin in today's business climate than ever before. It takes money to distribute a product efficiently. It would cost the producer and the customer a great deal more if the distribution were performed inefficiently. Thus, in the final analysis, the economic justification of the wholesaler-distributor is still the same. i.e.. his efficient distribution.
