Extra-long retorts have the capacity of treating wood products with Penta, creosote, or waterborne salts. Pole treating by thermal full-length and butt-treating processes is done at Sandpoint.

As part of the All Weather Wood Foundations program, the company dries Chemonite-treated lumber and plywood in a 120'by 120' kiln. Products are then wrapped with moisture-proof covering to assure delivery of dry material.
