Day 1-3

Bangkok Ayuthaya Chiang Mai phuket Phang Nga

Rise early, and head to Wat Pho to witness the chanting of the monks. Continue on to the Grand Palace and the fascinating Siam Museum. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant on the river before enjoying a longtail boat trip along the klongs (canals) of old Bangkok. On Day 3 drive to the ancient capital of Ayuthaya. Wander the magnificent city ruins and explore Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch with its three-spired pagoda, the imposing Buddha image of Phra Mongkol Bophit and Wat Chaiya Mongkol. Continue your exploration of the area with a visit to view the beautiful interior of Chinese Wehat Chamrun Palace. Cruise back to Bangkok on the Grand Pearl, arriving in the capital in the late afternoon.

Day 4 -7

Bangkok – Chiang Mai - Phuket

SUMMARY Explore the magical Kingdom of Thailand taking in the main sites from bustling Bangkok to the peaceful city of Chiang Mai. End your experience in beautiful Phuket, with ample time to enjoy its white sandy beaches, sunshine and delicious seafood.

Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Chiang Mai and spend the afternoon on a guided city tour of this relaxed city. Visit the main sights before spending the evening exploring the sprawling night bazaar. The following day you will depart Chiang Mai for the Chiang Dao Elephant training camp and the chance to ride one of these magnificent creatures. Following this, enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure down a stretch of the Ping River. The following day join a Thai cooking class, where you will learn some of the secrets to this refined cuisine. The next day you will be transferred to the airport for the direct flight to Phuket.

Day 8 –12

Phuket - Phang Nga

On arrival in Thailand’s biggest island, travel by boat to the beautiful Phang Nga Bay, with its spectacular limestone islands and secluded beaches. A highlight of this trip is a visit to ‘James Bond Island’. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board your vessel and plenty of opportunities to swim in the azure waters. Return to your comfortable hotel in Phuket in the late afternoon. The next few days are at leisure for you to relax on the beach or explore Thailand’s largest island.

Siem Reap Extension Explore the fabled Temples of Angkor, with ample time to explore majestic Angkor Wat and the jungle enveloped temple of Ta Prohm.
