Explore the capital with a guided tour of the main attractions including the National Museum, the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. On Day 2 explore the city further and visit Wat Phnom, the fascinating Russian Market, sobering Tuol Sleng Museum and the poignant Killing Fields. On Day 3, make the journey to Stung Treng, which is located near to Cambodia’s northern border with Laos. It is also the point where the Mekong River enters Cambodia. Next, you will drive to Ban Lung, the capital of Ratanakiri Province. Enjoy a swim in Boeng Yeak Lom Lake and admire Cha Ong waterfall before enjoying sunset on top of Eisey Pak Ta Mak mountain.

SUMMARY Whilst taking in bustling Phnom Penh and the temples of Angkor, this tour also takes you off the beaten track to some of the country’s more remote and dramatic areas. Along the way encounter beautiful scenery, ethnic minority villages and archaeological gems at Angkor.
Venture out to Ven Sai village and meet inhabitants from some of ethnic minority groups that make the region their home. Later in the day, journey to beautiful Ka Chanh waterfall. Travel on to Kratie and embark on a river cruise to try and spot the endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins that inhabit this stretch of the river. Move on to Kompong Cham, stopping en route at the historic hill temples of Phnom Srei and Phnom Pros. Explore the Sambor Prei Kuk temple complex before arriving in Siem Reap on Day 8.
Angkor Complex - Tonle Sap
Begin your exploration of the Angkor complex with a visit to Angkor Thom, before exploring magical Angkor Wat and enjoying sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Visits will also be made to Banteay Srei, Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei. Later, take in the “Grand Circuit” which includes Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup. On Day 11, head out to the Tonle Sap Lake, South East Asia’s largest lake and observe life in the fascinating floating villages. Finish this comprehensive experience with an exploration of the Rolous Temple Group.
