This unique experience begins with a sedate cycling tour around beautiful Luang Prabang. Along the way, stops will be made at glittering Wat Xien Thong and the National Museum before you climb Mount Phou Si for spectacular views of the town at sunset. The following morning head off to a local family’s house to learn how to cook the Lao way. You will begin with a visit to a local market to select your ingredients for your culinary experience. Learn how to prepare sticky rice and bamboo shoots. Then it is time to enjoy your delicious creations at lunch. In the afternoon take a boat cruise on the river to the sacred Pak Ou Caves to view the numerous Buddha images. Later in the day you will visit a local silk making village. Return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon and explore the impressive night market.
