Dmitry Bulatov Dmitry Bulatov (1968, Kalinyingrád) a tudományos művészet (science art) jelentős képviselője. Kutatásai során az interdiszciplinaritás jegyében ötvöz különböző műfajokat és művészeti irányzatokat, alkotásaiban nyelvi és halláson alapuló, vizuális, tudományos, biológiai és robotikai elemeket is használ. A kiállításon bemutatott projektet Alexey Chebykinnel (1961 Lisva) együtt hozta létre. Céljuk a múlt tudományának ötvözése a jelen technológiájával. Az anamorfózis már a kora reneszánszban megjelenik: ezek a képek a művészetben a legmagasabb technikai tudást tükrözték, de átfogó tudományos kutatást is képviseltek. A projekt az anamorfózist a 21. század hipervalóságának történelmi prototípusaként mutatja be, Tatlin tornyát véve központi elemként, amely az utópisztikus építészet emblematikus műve. Mindezt a művészek a fű növekedésével párosítják, és a nagy eszmék világát a természet ritmusával ütköztetik. 14
Dmitry Bulatov (1968, Kaliningrad) is a leading expert and practitioner of science art. His research focuses on interdisciplinary art, including visual, lingua-acoustic, art-science, biological and robotic art. Together with Alexey Chebykin (1961, Lisva) the project presented in the exhibition is an initiative that brings the science of the past and today’s technology together. The idea of anamorphoses appeared in the Early Renaissance – these images were the proof of technical mastery and also a product of a thorough scientific research. This project presents anamorphoses as a historical prototype of the 21st century’s augmented reality, taking Tatlin’s Tower as central motif that is an emblematic piece of utopian architecture, paired with the growing of grass as the hourglass for the rhythm of nature.
