Lindsey Thomas School Improvement Consultant
Before becoming a consultant, Lindsey taught and led Secondary English in two urban comprehensives and a selective grammar school, securing significant improvements and successfully managing change. As a consultant she has effectively supported improvement in a diverse range of settings and contexts, including Special Schools, Pupil Referral Units, selective Grammar and Secondary Modern schools. As well as providing tailored support, including National Challenge Core Plus, Lindsey has led the introduction of APP, Functional Skills and the Lindsey‘s areas of expertise and interest include: New National Curriculum across the Local Authority. Secondary English She has many years’ experience as a senior Cross Curricular Literacy, supporting Functionality moderator and examiner for GCSE, where her role and Lear Assessment including APP and GCSE also includes specification design and examination E-learning and controlled assessment task setting; she is a Improving engagement and motivation Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors. Lindsey is passionate about securing literacy for all learners as well as developing engaging and innovative approaches to learning and has received national recognition for her work in E-Learning and Poetry.
