Miller Center Kids’ Room Join entertainment extraordinaire Corey Gottfried in learning the basic of playing guitar. These intensive group lessons cover basic cords, strumming, and some finger picking to get you started on exploring the versatility of this popular stringed instrument. Participants will need their own guitar and to rehearse between sessions; acoustic or electric guitars welcome.

Miller Center Conference Room Come learn the Basics of Spanish with Sam Carter, a Spanish interpreter with the Association of Africans Living in Vermont. Sam Carter has lived, worked and studied in Cuba for 2 years. The class will be taught through a variety of methods including group activities, games, and drills.

BASICS OF KIZOMBA DANCE (DROP-IN)

Ages 18+

Resident / Non-Resident $10 per class Miller Center Fitness Room Come learn Kizomba, a beautiful Angolan partner dance, with Sam Carter, who trained with internationally reknowned instructor, Lucia Nogueira. My dance classes are unique in that I incorporate questions of social justice, movement science, and principles of exercise. I’m a teacher by training, and I bring that experience to my class designs. Class is just $10! At that price, you could treat a friend. All bodies are welcome. Beginners especially welcome. ADULT HORSE CAMPS

Ages 18+

Resident $35 / Non-Resident $45 per day Meet at 645 Pine Street Join us for this new Adult Camp experience! Sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 days! On Wednesday, learn about the special care of horses and ponies. Thursday includes riding skills and instruction. Friday, you can enjoy a leisurely ride on the beautiful shady trails. (This farm is not accessible, so mobility is essential and balance is a must!) We will provide bag lunches. Bring a full water bottle!. Code
