G-SHOCK announces the launch of their fourth collaborative timepiece with utilitarian streetwear brand and DPM specialists maharishi. Inspired by the beauty and strength found in natural elements, the GWG-1000MH-1A features maharishi’s new-for-AW16 DPM: British Bonsai Forest print. Reminiscent of the spiraling and interlocking patterns found in wood grain, British Bonsai sees a graphic update to the traditional camouflage pattern, integrating manipulated shapes to create a ‘stretch’ variant, the overall effect reminding us that camouflage is rooted in nature. A considered development, as the elongated graphics are well suited for a watch strap. Providing a canvas for the terrain-inspired pattern is G-SHOCK’s MUDMASTER from their LAND series. Designed to thrive in harsh environments, and to be at home in mud, deserts or dense forest, in addition to being sealed against

intrusion from mud and debris, this model can also resist heavy vibration and features a G-SHOCK Triple Sensor with compass bearing, altimeter/barometer, and thermometer. Set against the dark British Bonsai Forest strap and jet black case, this MUDMASTER model features bold orange detailing on the face, for a hi-visibility effect. Combining elements inspired by military design, the GWG-1000MH is the embodiment of the seamless synergy between maharishi and G-SHOCK. The limited edition GWG-1000MH launched with an event instore at maharishi London on 3rd November. In conjunction with the release, the maharishi team has produced an exclusive short video to celebrate this latest collaboration – sharing the smoky aesthetic from maharishi’s AW16 campaign.
