St. Louis attraction named one of America’s ‘Coolest Urban Spaces’ Jun 10, 2015, 1:15pm CDT
Veneta Rizvic Social Engagement Manager - St. Louis Business Journal Email | Twitter Thrillist, the food and drink website famous for its lists and rankings, just released a list of ‘The Coolest Urban Spaces in America,’ and a St. Louis attraction made the list. Citygarden, located in downtown St. Louis and spanning between Eighth and 10th streets to the east and west, and Chestnut and Market streets from north to south, is featured on the unranked list. According to Thrillist, before its conversion to an urban garden and sculpture park, Citygarden wasn’t all that fun. But now that it’s divided into three zones, each with a defining ecological feature, Citygarden is an exciting place to be. Citygarden features a video wall, a spray plaza and several sculptures surrounding the area. Citygarden hosts a slew of events throughout the year, including Wednesday Lunch Bands, which run through August.
